Mr Oliver Delgaram-Nejad
I’m a PhD candidate in linguistics at the Manchester Metropolitan University, working on formal thought disorder and linguistic creativity in schizophrenia. I studied a BA in English and Creative Writing and an MA in Professional Writing at Falmouth University prior to joining MMU.
I’m also a Survey Research Analyst at RWS Life Sciences, working on the linguistic validation of clinical outcome assessments. I was previously an independent consultant working on a range of language and communication projects.
I can help you with academic writing, quantitative and qualitative research methods, data analysis like SPSS, and more.
Tutoring experience
I've tutored across secondary, FE, and HE levels both privately and within mainstream and alternative provision settings.
Approach to tutoring
I start by getting to know you, understanding your goals, and developing a plan around you. Then I focus on helping you to gain new skills and knowledge by supporting you to reflect on your decisions, simplify your writing, manage your time effectively, and more.
