I am an English Lead Teacher who has over 10 years experience. I am originally from Ireland and with experience teaching abroad and in the UK. Settled in the UK for too many years to count!
Tutoring experience
Over the years, I have worked with many students who have found English tedious and boring. With my support, students were able to change their mindset and achieve a better grade. I offer a step- by- step approach that helps the student to overcome any barriers to their success.
I have taught the AQA, Edexcel and OCR exam specification and I actually mark for these exam boards too. This helps me to ensure students have strategies and skills they need.
Approach to tutoring
As a person, I am extremely hard-working and dedicated and I always ensure that I do things to the highest possible standard. It is this determination and desire to achieve the best results that informs my approach to helping others achieve the best they can through tutoring. I enjoy helping students and have seen rapid progress made in 1-1 and small group sessions too.
