Miss Louisa Abigail
Hello! My name is Louisa and I am currently on a gap year as I apply to study Medicine at university. I have obtained my A-Levels in Maths, Biology and Chemistry at Parmiter's School last year, where I achieved A*A*A.
At GCSE, I achieved five 9s, two 8s, two 7s and one B (including 9 in Maths, 9 in Chemistry and 8 in Biology).
I am a very friendly, patient and enthusiastic person; and I am eager to help my students reach their potential and goals. I particularly help out in Maths, Biology and Chemistry, as they are subjects that I am passionate about.
Tutoring experience
As I studied for my A-Levels at sixth-form, I tutored Maths to Year 7 and 8 students.
I have experience working with children at a local church where I help organize events and also working with children and young people with learning disabilities at Watford Mencap.
Approach to tutoring
My focus lies on the goals of the students and on helping students understand how to answer exam questions. I will help explain and teach subjects and topics properly based on the syllabus. I will also help assess areas where students particularly struggle with, and find ways to improve.
