I have a degree in Mathematics ( with Finance) - first class honours. I have also gained my Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) in Secondary Mathematics (QTS obtained). An experienced and dedicated Maths tutor.

Tutoring experience

I have over 10 years of teaching/tutoring experience combined. I have been teaching online for over one year now and have received positive feedback of how my lessons are making a difference to my students' progress in their learning of Mathematics. I have an excellent record of pupils who get top exam results. Most of my pupils had gone on to the universities/colleges of their choice and continued to do very well. My pupils considered me as their mentor who always support them and encourage them to be confident in tackling on challenging Maths questions.

I teach Maths for the following: SATs, KS3, GCSE, IGCSE, 11+, 13+ Entrance Exams, A Levels. Exam boards:mainly Edexcel.

Approach to tutoring

I believe that there are various approaches to a problem and each pupil has his/her own unique style. I am flexible in taking that approach to suit my pupils' needs. I do one to one teaching which to me means tuition is bespoke. My students are enjoying online tutoring; I see it as highly efficient and it also enables the pupils to access lessons' notes after tuition.I have been using online platform to teach Maths - a virtual whiteboard while communicating to
my students via Skype or Zoom or Microsoft Teams. I  prepare my lesson on the virtual whiteboard and
and will go through each page while explaining the concepts and ensuring they understand by
various forms of assessment - questioning/ working out progressive questions/ highlighting
any misconceptions. I would be writing on the board and would have my students as well
showing me their work. My students find the lessons engaging and informative.
