Miss Katie Pomfret
Hello there, my name is Katie Pomfret. I am an experienced, engaging and enthusiastic personal tutor. I am also a PGCE student and will be a fully qualified teacher from next year, so therefore I am charging a low hourly rate. I have a BA Hons degree in Digital Media and Communications and have the knowledge and personality to teach KS1, KS2, GCSE and A-Level students.
Inspiring individuals to enjoy education is what drives me and ensuring they have the opportunity to thrive. I truly believe that anything is possible if you put your mind to it, and with a little support, I know I can bring out the best in you or your child.
Tutoring experience
As a PGCE/PCET student within higher education media studies, I am experienced in teaching A-Level students but also KS1, KS2, KS3, GCSE and adults.
Approach to tutoring
My approach to teaching is relaxed, friendly and fun, which helps to create a powerful learning environment. I also provide free homework sheets due for the next session which allows my students to remain focused after tutoring sessions.
